What to Pack

Students are allowed to bring ONE medium suitcase, a backpack/carry-on bag, and a pillow/blanket if desired for the bus rides.
What to bring:
  • All bathroom necessities (soap, deodorant-MANDATORY, shampoo, etc.)
  • Sunscreen lotion (Remember...HOTLANTA. Even though it is March you still can burn!)
  • Dirty clothes bag/sack
  • Good walking shoes - you will be on your feet a lot on this mission trip
  • Wallet/ID/Purse
  • White Chocolate for Desiree & Matt...mmmm.
  • Work clothes and gloves (may be needed for some work projects)
  • Bible
  • Pen/pencil
  • Sunglasses
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Money for additional things (2 meals not included in the price, snacks, shopping, etc.)
  • Camera/Ipod/other electronics - see rules on pg.9 for a list of acceptable electronic items
  • Casual Concert Attire - bring extra t-shirts to go under your tour shirt...helps keep it fresh :-)
  • T-shirts/Jeans/Sweatshirts for evening activities
  • A few ministry shirts (i.e. shirts from camps, d-now, etc.)
  • Any medications you need to take, notify Mrs. Bozeman
  • A jacket and sweatshirt/hoodie...it can get cool at night. Check the weather forecast before we leave.
  • Umbrella (small/portable)
  • 1 Clothes hanger (for when sponsors wash your tour shirt)
  • A positive attitude!
****YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING A SWIMSUIT OR BATH TOWELS...
Use logic when packing. Please, please, please don’t pack 22 pairs of shoes or 15 complete outfits, because you won’t use them all! Don’t pack anything illegal like guns, knives, drugs, alcohol, etc. If I find these you will automatically be sent home at your own expense. Remember, the more you pack, the more you will have to lug around.
