Saturday, March 24 - Pray for safe travels to Atlanta. Pray that our team would bond with one purpose. Help them to prepare their hearts as they bring the Gospel to a city in need.
Sunday, March 25 - Pray as we serve meals and present our concert to the homeless at MUST Ministries in Marietta. Pray for stamina physically and vocally as we present an evening concert at Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee.
Monday, March 26 - Pray for safety and strength as we spend the day working with the Seven Bridges to Recovery organization in Atlanta. We will be going out in teams to pray through neighborhoods, provide essential supplies to low-income areas, and share the Gospel with everyone we meet! Pray for boldness as the students share their personal faith with others. A concert will be presented in the evening at the organization’s homeless shelter.
Tuesday, March 27 - Pray for energy and joy today as we have a very full schedule. Pray as students work in projects at the Atlanta Food Bank and Andrew P. Steward Center. Pray as the students present a concert to underprivileged kids during the afternoon. Continue to lift them up as they share another concert in the evening at Rescue Atlanta. The students will also be serving meals to the homeless in the evening.
Wednesday, March 28 - Another full day awaits! Pray for strength and joy in the Lord as the students will be engaged in over 12 hours of solid ministry with the Salvation Army of Marietta. They will begin by doing projects around the Marietta Corps Community Center and at local nursing homes. In the afternoon, the students will be prayer walking and continuing to do work projects at the local food pantry, an after school program, and an apartment complex. The day will end with a community-wide concert. Pray that the students will
Thursday, March 29 - Pray for our ministry at City of Refuge today. We will be serving food and performing a concert for the homeless at the shelter during lunch. In addition, the students will present another concert at the shelter during the dinner hour. Pray for wisdom and courage as the students share their faith with the hurt and impoverished. We will conclude the night with a special student-led reflection service. Pray that God will work in the lives of each student and adult to make them more like Christ.
Friday, March 30 - Pray as students interact with unbelievers as we spend some time at the World of Coke and doing other activities in downtown Atlanta. Pray for God’s mercy on the people of Atlanta. Pray as we travel home late in the evening.
Saturday, March 31 - Pray as students come together to rehearse the concert in the worship center. Pray for the technical aspects of the program that need to come together for tomorrow.
Sunday, April 1 - Pray for strength and passion as we present our homecoming concert at Whitesburg Baptist Church in both morning services.
